PeerPremier strives to provide a professional, equitable and transparent peer review process. It is our priority to find the best and most knowledgeable reviewers for every manuscript submitted to PeerPremier. Our proprietary matching process uses AI, network analysis and manual vetting to find suitable reviewers.
Here is a high level summary of what we expect from reviewers when assessing the quality and scientific merit of a submitted manuscript:
- Reviewers are expected to provide a timely and detailed peer review (standard turn around time is 1 week)
- Reviewers receive $300 USD within 2 weeks of review submission to PeerPremier
- Reviews are double blind
- The estimated time for a review is 4-6h
- IMPORTANT: Authors are entitled for one round of revisions with subsequent review
We strongly believe that paying reviewers for their efforts improves the quality of peer review and is compatible with the traditional peer review system
